
Gradient Effects was among the winners of the Hollywood Post Alliance (HPA) Awards on Nov. 12 in Los Angeles, taking home kudos for Outstanding Compositing - Television for their work on Krupp - Eine Deutsche Familie (Krupp - A German Family). The three-part German television series followed the dynamic Krupp family dynasty over six decades. Shot on the ARRIFLEX D-21, Visual effects were used to establish different periods through history and to help create the epic scope of the production. Accepting the award were Thomas Tannenberger, Olcun Tan, Shane Cook and Josiah Howison. Helmed by Carlo Rola, Krupp was shot with Frank Kupper as director of photography.
