ARRIRAW T-Link (Transport Link) Certified Partners are data recorder manufacturers with a proven ability to record the raw data from the ARRIFLEX D-21 film style camera. ARRIRAW T-Link has been developed by ARRI to provide a simple and standardized method of retrieving raw data from the ARRIFLEX D-21 to a recorder. It is a method of packing the ARRIRAW 12 bit data into the RGBA HD file format. Transmission is achieved over a standard dual link HD-SDI connection per SMPTE 372M.
Data recorder manufacturers receive the T-Link certificate by fulfilling the following:
1. Product can record the ARRIRAW T-link stream.
2. Product can show a live preview while recording.
3. Product can apply preview processing and play back the ARRIRAW images.
4. Product can de-squeeze an anamorphic image for preview and playback.
5. Product outputs raw data in .ari file format compliant to the latest ARRIRAW ARI File Format Specification.
6. Manufacturer must supply ARRI with a sample of their product to test the above capabilities.
ARRI shall preserve the authority and the right to issue and revoke the ARRIRAW T-Link Certification.
